Level 4 Skin Aesthetic Course
This is an assessment based course with a final ITEC Exam plus theory tests, therefore it is compulsory to supply your own model from week 2 to allow you to complete the assessments each week within the 10 weeks timeframe. The model is your responsibility and the School cannot supply them for you. It is therefore really important to have your models organized in advanced of each second Sunday when you come in for your practical training.
Theory classes on zoom are compulsory as they will cover the theory element, times will be arranged with each group.

Each student must bring their own models for at least 6 of the practical classes to complete their case studies
Assessments
The course requires a number of successful assessments completed under Tutor supervision to be signed off combined with the successful pass in the various theory exams.
Students are responsible for their own models for the duration of the course.
Course Sylabus
On completion of this unit, learners will:
- LO1 Know safety considerations when providing cosmetic skin needling treatments
- LO2 Understand how to provide cosmetic skin needling treatments
- LO3 Know the relevant anatomy, physiology and pathologies for cosmetic skin needling
- LO4 Be able to consult, plan and prepare for cosmetic skin needling treatment
- LO5 Be able to provide cosmetic skin needling treatments
On completion of this unit, learners will:
- LO1 Know safety considerations when providing skin peel treatments
- LO2 Understand how to provide skin peel treatments
- LO3 Know the relevant anatomy, physiology and pathologies for skin peeling
- LO4 Be able to consult, plan and prepare for treatment
- LO5 Be able to provide skin peel treatments
Important Information This is a Post Graduate Course which requires considerable home study and research. The purpose of this course is to to enhance the Therapists knowledge of skin, legislation, cosmetic science and advanced treatments.
This will not be achieved without study and reading at home. The Practical elements will all be conducted in our Schools. This course is only for students who are fully committed to the dedication and standard of work which will be expected at this level.
